Tonight I'm posting a card with a LOTV Christmas stamp. This is a stamp I bought Christmas 2012 and didn't get round to  stamping it up. Well at long last I've finally got round to it. I decided on traditional colours and  a touch of black to  give it a slightly different look.

Pink and White 'Little Holly'

Good afternoon everyone hope you have had a good week and managing to keep warm its been freezing here in the North East all of the week.
Today I'm posting a Christmas card I painted the image for last week when on holiday. Its a LOTV Christmas stamp quite an old one and I've had her for a couple of years but still love the image. That is what I like about LOTV they never seem to date.
I've used water colour inks again and beginning to quite like them. I also managed to get some new Watercolour paper which is a lot whiter than the Langton Hot Press I had been using.  Its called Classico 5 RKB Fat Pad if anyone is wanting to  use watercolur card.

 

 

 

 

This is a picture of the inside of the card and the tag I tend to decorate the inside of shaped cards as they are difficult to put inserts into.

I hope you enjoy this card bit unusual for a Pink Christmas card although I've just spotted one on todays post on the LOTV Blog. Hope you like my new hanger for hanging the cards onto to  photograph its really lovely and makes it easy to  position the card I hung it on the back of a door!!

 

Hope that you all are looking forward to a great weekend I'm hoping to make a serious start on Christmas Shopping tomorrow but if I set myself to do this I generally find  nothing I like . So fingers crossed everything lovely and  suitable jumps out at me !!

Christmas Cracker and Beresford Dale

Good morning to all my lovely friends and  followers. Its been a while since I posted anything as I've been away on a weeks holiday in the Peak District . Had a great week and did some lovely walks. My main post today is a Christmas Cracker I have made. I bought the templates from Which Craft at GNPE Harrogate and have decorated it to my own vintage design. I am quite pleased with the finished cracker so if  I have any spare time might make some more.

Silent Night Holy Night

Good evening to all of my friends and followers this is a quick post . First I wanted  to tell you all that I have  had one of my cards posted on the LOTV blog I was so excited when they contacted me on Wednesday to say they were featuring my card on their blog for Theme Thursday . Its a bit different for me and its using perfect pearls. I bought  them after having a demo  done for me by Barbara Gray at Harrogate GNPE in March.

This is a beautiful stamp and everyone from my craft group really enjoyed  making it yesterday . The black and gold works so well.

 

Thank you to all of you who have commented on my recent cards I do appreciate you taking the time. We have been to the funeral today for our friend Eric who sadly died last week. As funerals go it went well it was a lovely service. We will miss him.

Vintage Christmas

Good Morning  hope all of my friends and  followers are doing well and keeping warm its been freezing here this week.
My post today is a vintage card from a Pion image I bought at the GNPE the background is also a Pion design These are made is  Sweden and the quality is excellent there are a couple of places stock them I got mine from Which Craft but Live and Love Crafts also sell them. The colours are very rich and they are beautiful designs. The sort you stroke !!

 

I've used a Tim Holtz  paper distress tool to give the snowy edges.

My post today is a card using the LOTV stamp Nativity Angels I have coloured it  with watercolour distress inks and used some very pale colours for a different look Christmas Card. I love the image its another one of my favourites from this years release.

I love water colouring and this Langton card is good but I haven't yet found a watercolour card that's really white if anyone know s a brand that is a really good white I'd love to hear from you.

 

 

I promised  in my earlier post this week that I would show you the candles when I got them bagged up this photo is OK but the cellophane has not come out well in the photo but you can see the matching tags and  the overall idea.

 

 

 

Now something different .Yesterday I spent a lovely afternoon at Wynyard Hall celebrating my friend Ian's retirement. We are all ex work colleagues and had a great afternoon and the lovely expensive Champagne Ian treated us to made for a perfect afternoon. This is us all having lunch.
