Hat Tipping Snowman

Good morning everyone and  yes it is that Wednesday again and the Design Team at Crafting by Designs are back with our challenges after our Summer break. So today we are starting with our very popular Get Ready for Christmas Challenges. They are a great way to keep ahead making a stock of Christmas cards.and  projects.

For my Design Team project I used a great stamp called Hat Tipping Snowman  from Fred She Said he's fab especially if you love snowmen. For my Design I decided to make a Christmas Wall Hanging.

Oliver Kicking About

Good evening everyone tonight I'm sharing a card I've made using one of the Lili of the Valley teenage stamps. I like these stamps perfect for the young men who are all so difficult to come up with ideas for.

I'm doing some crafting Sunday as hubby is at the football its the first home game for the new season so he'll be happy and  I'll have to endure Match of the Day and  Super Sunday till next year!! Harbourside

Good morning to all my lovely friends and  followers I hope you all had a great weekend and  are enjoying the lovely weather especially those of you who are on holiday. Today I'm posting another of the projects we made recently at the craft group I go to. This was a one of my designs but the Beach Huts embossing folder belongs to Pamela another of my craft group friends. I used a stamp for this card that I have had for ages I have a few of these Michael Powell stamps they are great for the men. I actually met Michael Powell three years ago when I went to the quilt show at the NEC with my friend Val he was selling his fabulous cross stitch designs which these stamps are based on. Anyway enough rambling this is my card.

Tea Bag Christmas Tree

Happy Wednesday everyone I hope you are all well and doing some great things. Its not that Wednesday today however as my three Design Teams are currently on Summer breaks till September I'm busy crafting but most of the things are for challenges in September so not got anything to post just yet.

I've decided over the next couple of weeks to share some makes from the Craft Group I go to that I haven't posted on here.. Since we lost our last leader sometime ago three of us take turns to make a project for the group to make. Today I 'm sharing a design from my crafty friend Carol and they are Christmas cards using a tea bag folded Christmas tree. I really enjoyed making these such fun and I was really pleased with the finished Christmas cards

Finally I'm finishing with a photo my friend Lorna took last week while I was away with the Golden Girls in Liverpool We had a fab day out in Chester with our friend Chris and her husband Jeff it was great to catch up with them as they live in the Wirral so we don't see them as much as we'd like. This was us all enjoying coffee in the sunshine  before our lovely trip on the river followed by dinner and drinks.

Birdcage

Good morning to all my lovely friends and  followers today sees the launch of a new challenge over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge and  the theme this week is Anything Goes always a very popular choice.There is always a great prize for the winner from The Crafty Ribbons Store

For my Design Team card I decided to use a Birdcage shaped card from Craftwork Cards. I did make a few of  these a long time ago so thought I'd make one for a change.Not the easiest to photograph however.

80th Birthday

Happy Monday everyone I hope you have all had a great weekend. The card I'm sharing today is a one I made a while ago for a commission. My friend Val asked for a male 80th with a garden theme as the man loves his garden. I didn't want to post it earlier but as the birthday was yesterday I'm sharing it with you now. I bought the lovely Potting Shed stamp from Lili of the Valley which I thought was just perfect.
