Parchment

Good morning everyone I hope you are all having a great week . Today I'm sharing a parchment design card I made a couple of weeks ago at the Craft Group I go to. Its ages since I did any parchment work and  I really enjoyed doing something different. I'm no expert at it but I think this parchment design has made a really pretty card

Card Recipe

6x6 blank card
Paper is Craftwotk cards
Parchment design is traced from an All Dressed Up Stamps freebie butterfly digital stamp free on the challenge blog page if you wish to download it
Parchment paper and  Pergamano white gel pen
Embossing tools and  mat
Spellbinder Floral Oval die
Pink alcohol marker pen to colour the reverse of the design
Martha Stewart Butterfly punch to make the parchment butterflies
Pink and white flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts
Pink pearls and string my box
With love sentiment I think is also Spellbinder
Tim Holtz paper distress tool
Pink brads from my friend Carol who was running the class that day and  is very good at parchment work

I'm sorry I've not been around much recently I went out last Monday for afternoon tea with my Golden Girl friends. Some of you will know that I have Coeliac Disease  and  unfortunately I was extremely ill after having a very bad reaction to what must have been a non GF tea it took me most of last week to get myself back to normal . Sadly this is the risk I have to take when eating out you can only trust people when they tell you yes its all GF.

Enjoy the rest of the week everyone hope you have some nice things planned Love and  hugs Carole x

  2. Beautiful card Carole.
I hope you are now over the reactions to the non GF food - I have a friend the same - and she swears that sometimes she thinks the chefs/staff don't know what is and what isn't GF. x

  5. Just came from Facebook after looking at your card which is beautiful, but my heart aches for you and your reaction to gluten, I am also coeliac and it is heartbreaking when we know we are ill again because of lack of knowledge. Or maybe just pure carelessness. I am glad you are over the worst now and will know to watch out for your cards on Facebook. Sheila
