Beaded Christmas Card

Good morning to all my friends and followers sorry its been a while since I posted but I have been away for a few days to London visiting our dear friends Val and  Ed. We had a lovely weekend with them .
Now for todays card I stitched this beaded design at my Craft Group two weeks ago Hazel who led the class is a whizz with these beaded designs . I have now put the design into a Christmas Card. I have to say these are the sort I'm always reluctant to part with as they take quite a while to stitch.

Card Recipe

Blank cream deckled edge card from Hobbycraft
Green glitter card from Paper Mill Washington
Bead design from my Craft Group
Beads some of my own and  some from my Craft Group friend Carol
Spellbinders die Resplendent Rectangles
Die cut bells from my friend Barbara think they are Marianne
Sentiment LOTV heat embossed with gold embossing powder
Lace from local craft shop Boyes
Kanban gems from my stash
Vintage White Frantage

I want to  thank Carol and Barbara who both kindly gave me the beads and the bells for this card  such great crafty friends

I'm now going to start cutting 60 snowflakes to be used at my Craft Group tomorrow they are making the snowflake acetate card  I posted  a little while ago. Veronica who leads the group is preparing the rest of the things. If it doesn't take me too long then I will hopefully finish a LOTV card I am busy making using some lovely things I got at the GNPE.

Enjoy the rest of the week the weather is horrible here very dull, cold and wet which I hate I'm thankful for my crafting on days like this.

  1. Hi Carole. I'm glad you had a good weekend with you friends. The weather here is grey and cold but no rain as yet.
I wouldn't want to part with this lovely card either, it would have to be for someone who'd appreciate how much work had gone into it and would treasure it. How long did it take to make? I'm sure your craft group are going to love making your acetate Christmas card. 60 snowflakes to cut out is going to take a good while, that'll be fun.
I'm just using some of my purchases from GNPE much to the relief of hubby as he's got no idea where I'm going to put it all ( me neither!) . Anyway have fun with your snowflakes. Debra x
