80th Birthday Card and Box

Good morning to all my lovely followers and  friends and  a special welcome this cold January morning to my two new followers Murielle and  Kate. I'm so  glad you are following my Blog and  I hope you visit often and enjoy my posts.
My card today is a commission I have just made for one of my friends. Her Aunt is 80 very soon and asked for a special card for her. I decided to use dies on this card rather than my normal painted image so the main focus of my card is Spellbinder Opulent Oval dies..

I apologies now for the photos its been so dark here and the colours look like they aren't all the same but in fact they are .
This will be my last post for a little while. I'm going away on Monday on a five week holiday to New Zealand and the Cook Islands its a holiday of a lifetime and one from our retirement bucket list of things to do. We are looking forward to some warmer weather but not the long flight .
I've got some posts scheduled for when I'm away and will try to keep up with all your gorgeous blogs if I can . . I'm just finishing all the packing a huge task for 5 weeks.
I hope you all keep well and warm while I'm away and also have a great weekend.
Thank you all so much for all the great comments on my Snowman card you are all so kind.Hugs Carole x
