A Green Green and Green Card

I was asked to  make this card by my friend Margaret for her sons girlfriend's 30th birthday . You have guessed her favourite colour is green!!. I just love this Lili of the Valley image Dandelion Clock its one of my all time favourites and I never tire of it. She always looks gorgeous.

 

 

This is the first time I have used a photo from my iPad I think it is better than my camera which is old, let me know what you think .I have decorated the inside for the first time and with this die it looks lovely. I'm pleased with the green as its not a colour I use a lot.

A present from Japan

This is a lovely bag from Japan I was given today from my friend Val . It is used by ladies in Japan to keep their girlie things in they then put it in the sleeve of their Kimono a very interesting story. Unfortunately I do not have a kimono so  have decided to put it on my craft desk and store some of my craft stash . Its such a  pretty fabric and the colour is so vibrant.

Prize

Hi Everyone now back from Florida and still feeling a little  jet lagged but had a great holiday I am missing the lovely warm weather already although it is sunny here and it was snowing when I left so big improvement.
A few posts ago I wrote to  tell you all I had won a prize in  a competition this is the picture of my prize it is such a generous box of craft goodies I hope to  get to  play with them over the weekend along with some things I have brought back from the States. A 70th Birthday card for Joyce



 

 

 

Hi everyone hope you all had a good Easter the weather did improve but its still freezing here. I spent yesterday morning being pampered at the spa at Wynyard Hall Hotel it was a lovely morning and I had an especially nice therapist. Such luxury..!!!

Enough about me my card today is a one I made as a commission a few weeks ago. I love the colours and the design came out really well. This is one  of my favourite die cut shapes its beautiful.

Another Easter Card

Hi everyone hope you are enjoying the start  of the Easter weekend. This is the Easter card the I sent to my cousin and his wife its such a cute image.

Easter card for Fiona and Martin

This is the Easter card I have given to  Fiona and Martin my Son and Daughter in Law. I made the quilled design at my Craft Group a few weeks ago and finished it while we were on  holiday at the cottage in the Peak District. It is a lovely Easter Design even though it takes ages to  complete. The corners are very effective. I gave it to them when they visited last weekend and they loved it.

The Golden Girls appear at The Cavern Liverpool

 

 

I haven't posted for a couple of days as I've been on a girlie trip to Liverpool with my friends Lorna ,Barbara and Margaret. This is not my usual subject its us all at The Cavern Club listening to Beatles music great fun. We met up with our friend Chris it was lovely to see her and spend a day with her. This is one of her photos

Quilled Trinket Box

Hi everyone this is the trinket box I started at my Craft Group yesterday. Thanks to Hazel and Carol I can now achieve these quilled images they taught me everything I can now achieve. I'm sure in time this box will hold some treasure for some special person.
I'm off to the GNPE at Harrogate tomorrow with my Craft friends so hope its not too crowded and there are lots of bargains to be had.
I hope you all enjoy and support Comic Relief tonight such a good cause its dear to me as a few years ago my Contact Centre took some of the calls. It was a night to remember hard work but great fun.  I think my friends Barbara and Lorna still count pledges in  their sleep!! My first attempt at colouring with water colour inks

 

Hi everyone sorry I haven't posted for a few days but been away in the Peak District on a holiday. Its very cold here today for Mothers Day and we have had some snow flurries. I made this card a couple of weeks ago my first go at colouring with water colour inks.  I'm reasonable pleased but need a bit more practise with the face colours however the image is very cute and I love the colour scheme.
