Snow Family

Good morning to everyone I hope you are all well. Today is the launch of another 12 Days of Christmas Challenges over at Crafty Ribbons The theme for week 4 is use a Snowman. The prize is a voucher to spend in store Also remember to add a ribbon if you enter a card.
For my DT card I used a Lili of the Valley stamp Snow Family. I've had this stamp a while but this is its first outing I loved colouring it so I think it will be used again very soon.

Papers are Maja Design Vintage Frost from Live and  Love Crafts
Stamp is Lili of the Valley Snow Family painted with Derwent Inktense Pencils. I used white Liquid Applique to make the snow
Merry Christmas Ribbon and Eyelash trim are both from Crafty Ribbons The tags are made from bits of the ribbon.

 Well my hospital visit went well in the end I found a pair of leggings to wear I did have to remove my bra its the metal bits!! I have to wait 5 weeks though for the results.

Caroling Angel

Good morning to all my lovely followers and friends well I'm back with its that Wednesday again and  today sees the start of a new challenge over at Crafting by Designs the theme this week is use an Angel ,

Well I hope you are all well and  enjoying the week I've finally caught up with the jobs following my holiday and almost there catching up on your lovely blogs. I'm at the hospital this afternoon for my Dexa scan to see how my osteoporosis is coming along a side effect from my Coeliac Desease. I have to wear clothes with no zips or metal and remove my body piercing as well !! how hard is that no zips suppose I could go in my dressing gown !!

Bells and Ribbons

Good Morning to my lovely friends and  followers . Well I'm back from my holidays and apart from the cold have got settled back into life back home .We had a fabulous holiday great weather between 85 and 90 degrees and enjoyed a lovely four days down on The Florida Keys . So its back to reality now.
My card today is the last of the samples I made for Crafty Ribbons  using the beautiful new Christmas 2015 designs. This card is a bit different in that its 6x8 not made one that shape in a long time and  there is no stamp.or flowers !! I did enjoy making this card and  this particular ribbon set is just gorgeous so versatile. its called Christmas Charm and  there is a great range of different designs.

6x8 deckle edge cream card from Hobbycraft 
Green card is Tim Holtz
Cream textured background paper is from a First Edition paper pad called Christmas Village
All the lace ribbons and button are from The Christmas Charm Collection at Crafty Ribbons
I used deckle edged scissors to make the stamp backgrounds

Joy,Peace,Love Wall Hanging

Good morning to all my lovely friends and  followers. This is my last scheduled post before I return home tomorrow. Today is another of the samples I made just before my holiday using Crafty Ribbons new Christmas Ribbons.  I loved this ribbon and lace so much when they arrived and decided to make a Christmas Wall Hanging with them I hope you like it.






Wall Hanging Recipe

Kraft paper covered heart it comes with the jute twine hanger. Its from my local Garden Centre Strikes
Papers are Kaisercraft I think the pad came free in a magazine a couple of years ago
Poinsettia buttons are also from Crafty Ribbons 

I loved making this and these new ribbons,lace and buttons are just perfect for Christmas projects.

Little Angel

Good morning to all my lovely friends and  followers. Today sees the launch of another Twelve Days of Christmas Challenges over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge The theme this week is Christmas to Die For you must use a Christmas Die and a Ribbon . I've used a Saturated Canary digi stamp I bought last year and had not used before for my DT card. She's called Little Angel I just love her. I really struggled to get a decent photograph my camera didn't like those metallic flowers one bit hence the white background.


Card Recipe

6x6 Blank Card
The stamp is Saturated Canary Little Angel painted with Derwent Inktense Pencils sprinkled with Shabby Blue Frantage  and some Wink of Stella on the wings and halo.
Papers are Pion Wintertime in Swedish Lapland Northern Lights 6x6 sheet. The paper edges are inked with walnut stain Distress Ink
The ribbon is Christmas Words Silver from Crafty Ribbons Shop I made a scrunched border with it by attaching it to a strip of double sided tape attached to a narrow piece of card.
Snowflake are Xcut and Marianne dies. The smaller Marianne ones are covered in Shabby Blue Frantage from Live and love Crafts
White and Silver Berries are Wild Orchid Crafts
The metallic dark silver flowers and leaves are from Ross Papercraft Show sorry no make on them. In a clear bag !!
Acorn was in my stash

Snow Cute Penguins

Good morning to my lovely friends and followers . My card for today is another of the craft show samples I made for Crafty Ribbons it features a gorgeous array of ribbons and buttons from the Penguin Festive Combo set. I do like penguins and for my card I used a LOTV penguin stamp to compliment the pretty ribbons.

Snow Queen

Good morning to all my lovely friends and followers today is another Challenge launch over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge this sees the launch of our 12 days of Christmas challenges and we are running twelve weekly challenges in the lead up to Christmas The DT members have each chosen a theme for each week and today is the first challenge and the Christmas theme is anything other than Red or Green and you must also include a ribbon
For my DT card I used a stamp  I've had for a while from LOTV called Snow Queen and decided on a blue and gold colour scheme.
