Craftwork Cards Christmas

Hi everyone hope you are enjoying a great weekend. I want to welcome my latest follower on Google + Vicki thanks for joining my blog you are most welcome I hope you continue to visit and enjoy my posts.
My card today is a simple Christmas one. I was given a Craftwork Cards Christmas kit a few weeks ago and have made this Christmas card Its a simple design for me but I think it looks quite stylish the papers are a pretty design and  match so well. I folded one of the large flower die cuts inwards to create this rosette flower. Still a lot of things left in the kit so may make a few more cards with it.

Card Recipe

6x6 Kraft card
Red dot embossed card
Everything else was in the kit except the Candi but all the products are Craftwork Cards except the red card

I think thats my shortest ever Card Recipe. I have been working on other cards some for my DT and  some I cannot publish yet so will be back later in the week with one for my DT.

The rain has just started so I'm going to craft this afternoon. Its a real change from yesterday it was a lovely day and we went to Northallerton Market and had tea in Bettys lovely. Have a great week and I hope the weather improves for everyone take care if you get the tropical storm .

Time Flies

Good morning to all my fantastic friends and  followers. Firstly a special welcome to my new follower Julia I hope that you enjoy following my blog.
My card today is one I've made for a friend who is 70 shortly. I've used one of the LOTV stamps I bought from the last fairy release but had not got round to inking up. I loved this release and this stamp Time Flies was one of my favourites. I have another first today as well I bought a set of Inktense pencils a couple of weeks ago and  have now coloured two images this is the first to get posted. I have to admit I made a real mess of the skin on my first attempt and that is now well and  truly in the bin!!. They take a bit of getting used to but I have to say I love the finished result. I want to thank Becky her tutorials on skin and hair have been so helpful. I do love making this style of card with lots of embellishments.
