Time Flies

Good morning to all my fantastic friends and  followers. Firstly a special welcome to my new follower Julia I hope that you enjoy following my blog.
My card today is one I've made for a friend who is 70 shortly. I've used one of the LOTV stamps I bought from the last fairy release but had not got round to inking up. I loved this release and this stamp Time Flies was one of my favourites. I have another first today as well I bought a set of Inktense pencils a couple of weeks ago and  have now coloured two images this is the first to get posted. I have to admit I made a real mess of the skin on my first attempt and that is now well and  truly in the bin!!. They take a bit of getting used to but I have to say I love the finished result. I want to thank Becky her tutorials on skin and hair have been so helpful. I do love making this style of card with lots of embellishments.

Gosh I have used a lot of embellishments taken me ages to list everything. I hope you enjoy looking at this as much as I enjoyed making it.

Have a great week the sun is back today so lets hope it stays the rest of the month.

Thank you to everyone who left comments I say it every time but you are all just so kind and  lovely.

To end I want to tell you that I won two Papernest Dolls stamps in a candy draw over at Crafteezee blog. Thanks so much Tracy for the chance to win if you've never seen her cards pop over they are fabulous

Oh, Carole, this is breathtaking! What a gift! Your words "time flies" next to the young girl evokes exactly how it feels to suddenly find oneself in the sunset years of their lives. It speaks volumes! I'm sure this gift is one that will be treasured always!! I feel fortunate to have been able to see it! Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend! Hugs, Darnell
