Special Birthday

Good evening to all my lovely friends and  followers. A special welcome to my new follower on Google + Vinita. Thank you for following my Blog I hope you continue to enjoy my posts. My card today is one I made way back in August for a commission. I made it in a bit of a rush just before my holiday and forgot to photo it. When I met up with the friend I'd made it for I mentioned I'd not photographed it she agreed to take a photo for me she's done a brilliant job. The card is a design I have made before and was asked for specifically but this time I used patterned papers for a different look.

I hope the person it is for liked it my friend certainly does.. Well November already I cannot believe its 3 month since I made this card the time is passing so fast. Today I finished the roman blind for my Son and  Daughter in law just need to put the rods in and slot in the cord then fix it to the rail and hey presto finished in a flash. !!! We are seeing them next weekend so it has to be done for then.
I've got my two cousins for lunch tomorrow so really looking forward to that as one of my cousins now lives in Inverness near his son. My other cousins wife is bringing the outfit to show me she has bought for her sons wedding in December its the wedding I have done the stationery for so really looking forward to seeing it. I am sure it will be gorgeous.
Well I cannot finish my post without telling you about Friday. As it was a nice day we decided to go to Whitby for fish and chips at the Magpie and of course a visit to the craft shop. When we got there we found out it was Goth Weekend. We looked very boring in our normal clothes but we had great fun seeing all the amazing outfits.
Well that's it for now hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend . Thank you for the lovely comments on my Halloween card they were so special as it isn't the sort of thing I normally go for. Hugs Carole x

Twins 50th Birthday Cards

Good evening to all my friends and  lovely followers and apologies for taking so long since my last post. Firstly I would like to welcome my new follower Elizabeth Thank you for following my blog and I hope you continue to enjoy my posts.

My cards today are a commission I have made for a friend. They are for her twin nieces who are 50 soon. I was asked for the design of the pink card I made a while ago and  she wanted them the same but in different colours. She suggested yellow and  blue but my pearlescent paper was very gold looking not yellow at all so I decide to use lavender instead.

These are the two cards and  matching boxes.
