Princess For A Day

Good evening to all my lovely friends and  followers today is the launch of our Monthly Challenge  over at All Dressed Up Stamps . Our theme as always is Anything  Goes as long as you use an All Dressed Up Stamp in your design. The prize for the winner is three digital stamps of their choice and we also pick a top three one of whom is asked to be a Guest Designer the following month.

Happy 40th Birthday Martin

Good evening to you all. As I said in my earlier post today is my Son Martin's 40th birthday What happened to those 40 years just seems like yesterday when he was born..

This is the card and  box I made to give him I used a Mini car stamp from Docrafts I have had for ages but it seemed quite appropriate as his first car was a very old pale blue Mni I 'm not quite sure I got the rusty bits right.!! I know I worried myself sick when he drove to Manchester in it when he was at Manchester University..

40th Birthday I love Cycling

Good morning to all my lovely Friends and Followers and a special welcome to my new Google + follower Kelly . My card today is a commission card I made a while ago for one of my friends Son In Law who is a huge cycling fan.
I used a photo image for the focal point as all the cycling stamps I had seemed a bit young for him.I hope you like it its a change from Christmas cards.

Good morning to all my lovely friends and  followers I hope you all had a great weekend and  are enjoying the lovely weather especially those of you who are on holiday. Today I'm posting another of the projects we made recently at the craft group I go to. This was a one of my designs but the Beach Huts embossing folder belongs to Pamela another of my craft group friends. I used a stamp for this card that I have had for ages I have a few of these Michael Powell stamps they are great for the men. I actually met Michael Powell three years ago when I went to the quilt show at the NEC with my friend Val he was selling his fabulous cross stitch designs which these stamps are based on. Anyway enough rambling this is my card.

Camper Van Just Married

Good morning to all my friends and  followers I hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend although have to say the weather could have been kinder  . My card today is a DT sample I made for Crafty Ribbons to showcase the new Festival Ribbons they are lovely and for the first sample I made I used the Camper Van Ribbon . My image is a digital stamp Just Married and is from All dressed Up Stamps and was free in a magazine a couple of months ago. It went perfectly with the Camper Van Ribbons.

My card today is an 18th I have just made for my cousin's grandson who had his 18th birthday last Wednesday. I really struggled with a theme for this, his main loves are football and computer games and  I'd done all that before on previous cards . He is a great snowboarder so I found this image on the internet and  printed it onto photo paper. I always enjoy making these cards as I love the research to get just what I want. I was really pleased when I found the shield charm in my box as it has the year 1975 on it the year her son David was born.I made the edge brackets myself. I must apologize for the box photo I really struggled to get a good image because of the mirra card, without either my reflection or my Ipad .

I wasn't so keen on my face colouring because the stamp has three black dots on the cheeks and I think it makes it looks a bit smudged when its not .
