OMGosh this is just gorgeous. This little image is cute as can be, and the papers are absolutely wonderful with the image. Oooooooooh so many details that I love on a card that it's hard to not keep going back and looking at this. Okay, that settles it...this card is on my desktop so I can admire it while I'm working. Shhh, don't tell the boss. The color tones of this card are my favorites...soft, muted and sweet. And those flowers match the paper so awesomely (that is a word in my dictionary). I adore, simply adore, those pearl looking flowers you have used across the top and bottom of the image and in the corners. Those are so so pretty, and you know I like pretty. Hehhehe. Your lace is so sweet. The sentiments are freaking fabulous. First of all, stamped on matching paper is a GREAT GREAT GREAT idea (I haven't done that and now you have inspired me to remember this trick!) and the fact that you used 2 sentiments that go so nicely together--another trick I haven't done is 2 images on a card. My cards need some umph and I'm so glad I ran across your card today as I was cruising through the cards entered in the Crafty Sentiments challenge. I don't do a lot of blogging, but bought 2 new Crafty Sentiments stamps and was admiring the latest card challenge entries. This is a gorgeous card adn I hope you win your challenges cause it is a winner in my book. Hugs, Gail
ReplyDeleteHi Carole, so sorry it's taken me this long to comment - I've been really behind and am just catching up on the past week now! This is a really beautiful card, I've seen these images popping up recently and they're gorgeous. Your colouring is stunning and looks perfect with those lovely papers. Beautifully embellished as always. Hope you're well.

Really beautiful card Carole, I love all your pretty embellishments and what a good idea to stamp the sentiment on matching paper.
