Good afternoon to all my fantastic friends and followers. A special welcome today to my new follower Christine. Thank you for joining my blog and I hope you enjoy returning to look at my posts.
I've given myself a short break from the Wedding Stationery and have been catching up with my own cards. I've been making a few men cards for birthdays and this is one of them. As its summer I decided to use one of my Michael Powell Beach Huts stamps they never fail me I always love the finished results. As I've used this stamp a couple of times before I've tried some different colours and design. The papers I picked up at the GNPE on one of the pound stalls they are a Docrafts pad but they look great with this stamp see what you think.

I hope you enjoy this seaside card as men cards are not my favourites to make. Tomorrow I'm actually going to stay at the seaside at my friend's new caravan at South Shields for a couple of days . So it will be a great couple of girlie days with loads and loads of chat over some wine. I hope the weather is kind as she has just had this lovely veranda built perfect for sipping wine in the sunshine. This is the photo she has sent me so I recognise the caravan when I arrive.
It looks pretty swanky for a caravan doesn't it. Has all mod cons so not like the caravans I remember when I went as a child. More tales on my visit later in the week.
Well going now to put the clean sheets on the bed very boring and hopefully do some crafting later.
Enjoy the rest of the week and I'll be back later in the week with another man card I can almost hear the groans does anyone like doing them ??
Before I go just wanted to say a big thank you for all of you who always take time to comment on my posts you are so lovely and very kind. hugs Carole x

ReplyDeleteGreat card for a guy! The papers look fab with the image and I love the little charm. Your DI painting is so good, you've really got the hang of them.
