18th Birthday

Good morning to all my lovely followers and  friends. I'm back home from Florida and  feeling very relaxed we had a great month so laid back just love the life style and the heat. I'm now home and back to all the catching up. I'm sorry I didn't get any comments done but had to rely on wifi when I could get it so never had chance for any long spells sitting at my iPad. A special thank you to those of you who commented on all my scheduled posts they were lovely and so kind of you all. I must say I have missed my crafting not doing anything was hard but I bought some lovely craft goodies to compensate.
Now a bit about my post today. This is an 18th birthday card and box I made before my holidays for my friend Val to give to her grandson Kieran. The image is a McLaren sports car and the reason for this choice is he's just got an apprenticeship with them and  started this month what an opportunity for him he's a delightful young man.

So pleased you both had a great time in Florida and you feel rested and would love to see what goodies you bought.
It's a brilliant card Carole! The colour combo looks great and the whole design of the card and box is wonderful. I'm sure your friend and her grandson absolutely loved it. What an apprenticeship to get! I hope he really enjoys it.
I'm not going to Harrogate this time :-( . I would have loved to have met up again but Lexi, Chris' girlfriend, wanted to go to a craft show again but was working this weekend so we're off to the Whichcraft show at Doncaster Dome instead. I couldn't persuade Stuart to take me to both, Lol! Have a good time with your friends. Debra x

Welcome back Carole, I'm happy to hear that you had a great time! Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog, I really appreciate that you took the time to look at the things I posted whilst you were away - it must have taken you a while to catch up with everyone! This is such a fantastic masculine card, the colour scheme looks perfect and it is always lovely to hear about the people personalised cards are intended for :) Can't wait to see what you create with your new craft goodies!
Rebecca.
