Kenny K Party Time 18th Birthday

Good morning to my lovely crafty friends and followers and another special welcome this morning to my new follower Sally thank you for joining my blog Sally I hope you find the time to visit often.
My card today is an 18th I have just made for my cousin's grandson who had his 18th birthday last Wednesday. I really struggled with a theme for this, his main loves are football and computer games and  I'd done all that before on previous cards . However I spotted this digi on Kenny K and thought it was just the job its called Party Time I think its just great for a teenager.

Aurora Wings Wisteria Fairy

Good morning to all my my lovely friends and  followers I have two new followers to welcome this morning Lea and Michelle so glad you have both found my blog and thank you for joining I hope you continue to come and visit often, Well I've finally got round to a post I was very busy at the weekend with Miles visiting and  having family and friends around it was all worth it though we both had a great weekend.

Now onto my card for today as you are aware the DT from Crafting by Designs are still on holiday and we don't start back till next week. Today's Challenge over at Crafting by Designs is Things With Wings and  the sponsor is Aurora Wings.

 I do love Aurora Wings stamps so decided to do a DT card for this challenge. I used the gorgeous Wisteria Fairy I just loved colouring her.

Papers are Maja Design from live and  love Crafts and the edges are lightly inked with Tattered Rose Distress Ink

I did like the Vintage Elegance Stepper card when it was finished but it took me ages to cover it and a craft knife is not my favourite tool!!. I think if I use them again I'll leave it white and  just ink the edges.

Wedding Anniversary

Hello to all my lovely crafty friends and followers  I hope you are having a great week . I want to start with a special welcome to my new follower Sylvie thanks for joining my blog I hope you continue to visit and enjoy my posts .
Today is our Son and Daughter in Laws third Wedding Anniversary and I'm sharing the card I made for them with you. I imagine their Anniversary celebrations will be a bit different this year with a seven week old baby more nappy lit than candlelit !!

The Ribbon and Swirl die were the ones I used on their Wedding Invitations.
 I used Promarker and Copics as I have yet to find a watercolour card as white as this and wanted a white on white background. I've bought a few different pads but they are always a pale ivory colour if anyone knows of any really good white then please let me know the make.

Well my week started out well yesterday when I met some friends for afternoon tea at Wynyard Hall the weather was perfect for a change and we enjoyed bubbly and tea on the terrace this is the photo the waiter took. It was great to catch up as I'd not seen a couple of my friends since Christmas. 




Well  I'm going out shortly to start the shopping for the weekend. Fiona and Martin are coming at the weekend so we are having an informal get together for family and friends on Saturday so they can  meet Miles.We are both looking forward to having Miles in our home for the first time and seeing all our family and friends.

Craftwork Cards Candi Christmas Cards

Good morning to all my lovely crafty friends and a special welcome today to my new follower Sandra. Thank you Sandra for joining my blog I hope you find time to visit often and  enjoy my posts, I hope everyone is having a great week and enjoyed the recent good weather .
Well I have been doing a lot of crafting this week but most of it is for later in the month or September as I'm getting ahead of things before my holidays.
Some of you will remember last Christmas I made a few cards using a Craftwork Cards Christmas Candi pad I got at the GNPE well a few weeks ago we made some more at the craft group I go to so I thought I'd share them with you.

60th Birthday Card and The Golden Girls at Southport

Good afternoon everyone I hope you are all well.  I've finally got round to a post I was away last week in Liverpool and had lots of catching up when I came back.

My post today is a 60th birthday card I've made for a friend . I'm afraid its another man card I seem to have done a lot of men cards recently but will be getting back to flowers and bling very soon I need the fix !!

I had a great few days in Liverpool and a really lovely day in Southport with our friend and her husband. This is the first time we have met Jeff as he's usually at work but has recently retired so came to meet us. He was brilliant given he had to spend the day with five women !!. I've also added a couple of photos of our trip they are taken the end of the pier in Southport next stop is Ireland.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Good morning to all my friends and  followers and  a special welcome to my new follower Babs thank you for following my blog and I hope you find time to visit often .My card this morning is one I've made for a commission its a Golden Wedding card. I've used a stamp and embossing folder that I've used before for Ruby and Silver Wedding cards. I originally got it free with a magazine but I find it perfect for these large 8 x 8 anniversary card designs.
