Wedding Anniversary

Good morning to all my lovely friends and followers and a special welcome this morning to my new blog followers Sue, Tracey and  Ann thank you for following my blog I really appreciate it and I hope you will visit often and enjoy my posts.
My post today is to launch a new challenge over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge Blog The theme is Wedding or Anniversary cards and you must remember to always add a ribbon. This is the great prize for the lucky winner this week.

 A selection of wording ribbon
congratulations ribbons

For my Design Team card I decided on an Anniversary card and as I was going away on holiday and running short of time I decided to use a Lili of the Valley Art Pad image. I do like these and cannot think why they stopped selling these and the gorgeous papers. I used the Meant to be Image and  I think this is still available as a stamp.

Card Recipe

7x7 Blank Card
Creative Expressions embossing folder Heart Lattice
Spellbinder Fleur De Lis Squares die and Square die
Ribbon and Lace from Crafty Ribbons
Image is from a LOTV Art Pad
Sentiments are LOTV Vertical Sentiments and Greetings Postmarks
Pearl String The Hobby House
Flowers Wild Orchid Crafts and my stash
Pearl Hearts Ross Paper Craft Show
Paper is from a Timeless Victorian LOTV pad no longer available

I hope everyone is well and have had some of the recent sunshine. I'm still catching up with my comments so apologies if I have not got to you yet.
Its a great challenge theme this week and a fab prize so I hope some of you can make time to enter.
Love and  hugs Carole x

  2. Gorgeous card Carole! Beautifully embellished as usual and another wonderful card design. I love the embossed background and the sweet image you've used. It is a shame they no longer sell the image pads and paper pads any more. I can only think it was the postage costs that had an impact on their decision but I do think it's a mistake just like when they stopped blogging. I often bought a stamp or paper pad because of a card I saw on their blog so it's good that they've started the blog again. Hope you're having a great week so far. Debra x

  8. Carole, this is perfectly dreamy and brings such joy to my heart! I have always loved that LOTV image and am grateful you had the convenience of the Art Pad due to your time crunch. Your sweet detailing throughout is always so beautiful. The texture and elegance are stunning. Thank you for making my heart smile extra brightly tonight, my friend. :o)

    Hugs and blessings,
    Karen
