Happy New Year and Big Eye Bookworm Fairy

Good morning to all my lovely friends and  followers firstly I hope you all had a great Christmas and  I want to wish each and every one of you  a very Happy New Year for 2017. Secondly apologies I have not been around in blogland. My husband was taken into hospital the week before Christmas not getting home till Christmas Eve. I had the family arriving that day so with hospital visits preparing for the holiday it was a a very busy time for me. We had our grandson for 5 days which was lovely .I then had a friend staying for New Year so a very busy time but enjoyable .
Hopefully I can now get back to my crafting properly now all the festivities are over.

Well today would you believe it's that Wednesday and our first challenge over at Crafting by Designs for 2107. Our theme this month is Anything Goes and  we have a great sponsor

Prize - choice of 3 single images

For my card I decided on a stamp called Big Eye Bookworm Fairy bit of a different style for me can you believe no lace, ribbon or flowers oh I must be under the weather !!!

Card Recipe

6x6 Blank Card
Brick Paper was free in a magazine
Stamp is Odd Ball Art painted with Derwent Inktense Pencils and  the lovely sentiment comes with the stamp
Green Birdsong filigree paper from Docrafts
Tonic Square die
Wink of Stella on the image
Gems from my stash

Well I took the decorations down yesterday and  packed them away for another year . I hope I can get to see your lovely blogs very shortly. Don't forget to pop over and  take a look at the challenge it runs till the 25th January . Sorry about the photo of this card but its green my camera hates green and  the weather is very dark. Its much brighter than this. Enjoy your week everyone Love and  hugs Carole x
