Decoupage Card

HI everyone This morning I'm posting a card I made at my craft group last Thursday. I didn't quite get it finished at class and have finished it at home. Decoupage is not my favourite thing but this has turned our really well. I added some embellishments and some glossy accents to the flowers to give an enamelled look.

I hope you have all had a good week I have been very busy this week but took time out yesterday to enjoy afternoon tea at Wynyard Hall with some friends must rate this one of the best afternoon teas around and the setting is stunning. Enjoyed bubbly sitting on the terrace before tea in the glorious sunshine just perfect.
Hope you enjoy this card and have a great weekend.

  1. Carole, this is truly gorgeous. The colors are my favorites and that's what caught my eye, but now that I sit and look at this, it is not only the color that's pretty, but the entire card is beautiful. Such pretty little butterflies, and that bow is wonderful with the heart button and pretty pink and white twine. What is a wonderful addition to this card is the sentiment in the bottom right corner. The overall card is gorgeous and you did beautiful with a project, decoupage, that isn't your favorite..You sure could have fooled me that it's not your favorite since this is awesome. --Gail
