Country Snowman

Good morning to all my friends and brilliant followers.Well I know what you are thinking a Snowman card when Christmas is over well yes it is. This is this weeks theme at the Crafting by Designs Challenge Snowmen I do hope you enjoy the challenge we have two great sponsors.

Prize - $12.00 credit to the store
Prize - choice of 3 digi images up to $10

I  decided on an image from Stitchy Bear called Country Snowman. I went for a more CAS design stamping the background card and fussy cutting the image. Not sure I'll ever be able to do true CAS style !!

Card Recipe

6x6 card Craftwork cards
White Tim Holtz card
Silver mirra card
Tree stamp Docrafts several years ago heat embossed with silver embossing powder
Stamp Country Snowman coloured in Promarker pens and  fussy cut
Shabby White Frantage
LOTV sentiments
Narrow tinsel tied with ribbon from my stash
Wooden snowflakes Whitby Crafts
Tim Holtz paper distress tool

The more I've thought about this theme I suppose its OK because if we get snow in January we would build snowmen well not me personally !!

If you love snowmen then this is just the challenge for you hope you can enter something. Hugs Carole x

  2. Oh Carole! I totally understand about the CAS style! It's not really what the name implies is it?! lol! There's nothing "simple" about it .. as I want to keep adding things on my cards and I sit there for such a long time just staring at my card! hahahahhahaha!

Well, your card is just STUNNING .. love the tinsel at the side of your card .. reminds me of a silver garland! :) Beauuuuutiful!!!

    Big Hugs,
    Elise
