Live, Laugh, Love.

Good morning to all my lovely friends and  followers its Wednesday again so the launch of a new Anything Goes monthly challenge over at Crafting by Designs.
Our sponsor this month is

Prize = choice of 4 digi images

For my Design Team project I decided on something a little different and went for a gorgeous sentiment stamp called Live Laugh Love Rose Block. The reason I decided on this was last year when I was in Florida I bought a few of these wooden photo frames from Michael's they were very cheap only a couple of dollars and they have been in my box ever since. So this week they finally got used as I thought this sentiment fitted the aperture perfectly.  I was quite pleased with the finished frame for my first dabble with acrylic paint and  then stamping onto it.

Close up of the Stamp

Photo Frame Recipe

Wood photo frame from Michael's in Florida painted with Americana Warm White acrylic paint I then stamped it with a Tim Holtz butterfly from his Natures Elements stamp set and used Faded Jeans Distress Ink
Sentiment stamp is from Bugaboo  Stamps painted with Derwent Inktense Pencils to match the frame.
The hessian flowers are from Ross Papercraft show and the other roses are Wild Orchid Crafts
The dark cream pearl swirls came from Michael's in Florida a lot of years ago and I've just found them !!
Gold Viva pearl pen

I've not decide yet whether to leave it on the stand or to fix a hanger so it can go on the wall . I hope you like it. I found the stamping on the acrylic paint a lot easier than I thought it would be so I will definitely have another go.

Well that's it other than to say have a great week whatever you are doing. I hope you can enter the challenge Anything Goes is always so popular and you have plenty time as it runs till the 25th April
Love and  hugs Carole x

A Cart Full Of Sunshine

Happy Saturday to all my lovely friends and  followers I hope everyone is well and  looking forward to the weekend. Today I'm sharing another of the Easter cards I made last weekend I've used the lovely stamp from the Lili of the Valley latest release A Cart Full Of Sunshine . There is a bit of a tale to this stamp I bought the rubber stamp at Harrogate and then thought it was faulty as my stamp didn't have the pretty little branch at the top that I was seeing on cards others had made. I contacted Lili of the Valley who explained the branch was only on the digi stamp and print images because of production methods with the rubber stamp. I then decided as I love d the cute branch to get the digi stamp as well and  this is what I used for my card. I apologise in advance for the photographs my camera hates green so the backing paper on this card is a much prettier green its from a Lili of the Valley Timeless Victorian pad.
