Up, Up and Away

Good morning everyone I hope you are all well and  enjoying the Bank Holiday sunshine and have some nice things planned. Today I'm sharing a card I made for the ladies at the Craft Group I go to to make a few weeks ago . I tried something a little different no stamping and  made a little scene using some dies I had not used before and had been in my drawer for ages unused how could I have never used them !! you all know so much craft stuff.

Card Recipe

7x7 Blank Card
Blue card is Ross Papercraft
Kraft card is Crafter's Companion
Yellow card is Tim Holtz
Green and  Turquoise card from my box
Dies are house and tree border  Memory Box
Clouds Memory Box
Hot Air balloon came free in a magazine ages ago
Sun die from eBay
Square stitched dies
Circle stitched dies and
Spellbinder circle die to cut the centre circle
Hessian trim I bought in Spain last year at the Chinese supermarket what a fun place.
Card Candi Craftwork Cards (that was quite a shock last week to see they have gone into liquidation always a sad day when another craft company closes I loved their shaped cards )
Paris Blue Memento ink pad
Sentiment is from a Crafter's Companion set Florence

Well enjoy whats left of the weekend we are going to pick up some things for the garden today .I am sorry I've not been around much these last few days we had quite a lot of  Doctors and  Hospital appointments earlier in the week for my hubby but glad to say he is continuing to progress its taking awhile but am sure  we will get there.  Enjoy the sunshine love and  hugs Carole x

  1. Hi Carole this is a stunning card I love it. Those dies are gorgeous. I have loads of craft bits that I have never got round to using I think it is a common problem. Have a great day. Take care. Hugs Jackie

  10. Wonderful card Carole! It's good sometimes to make a card that mostly just die cut and this has turned out beautifully. Lovely die cut combination and in lovely colours too. I bet the ladies enjoyed making this one.
I didn't know Craftwork Cards had gone into liquidation :(. That's where I bought my 6" x 6" card blanks from usually so that's not great.
I either didn't know or have forgotten (that's my MS brain for you) that Michael has been ill! Nothing too serious I Hope. Glad to hear he is improving though. Tell him to keep up the good work. Love to you both. Debra x
