Golden Wedding

Good morning everyone it was our Golden Wedding Anniversary yesterday We had a lovely day not what we had planned sadly our large celebration with all our friends and family had to be cancelled because of Covid  . We had a very small celebration yesterday in our garden which was lovely and made our day a special one

In February I made these Golden Wedding invitations to send out to everyone so I thought I’d share them today along with a couple of photos of our Wedding Day on the 18th July 1970. We married at St Michael and All Angels church in South Shields and the reception was at the New Crown Hotel some of you may have seen it as it very close to the end of the Great North Run.

Here are photos of the invites and us in 1970  how young we look.

Hope you have a lovely weekend and don't mind my trip down memory lane Love and  hugs Carole x
