Stitched Snowflake

Good morning to all my lovely friends and followers today I'm sharing something a bit different last week at Craft Group  we did these Stitched Snowflake cards. we have done stitched cards  before but not for a long time and  I really enjoyed doing it at class and also finishing it at home so relaxing. I made it into a card using the card design from Craft Group . Thank you Carol for the loan of the lovely snowflake embossing folder..

We were given two snowflake designs so I might have a go at the other one sometime .

Card Recipe

6x6 Blank Card
Form -A-Lines Stitching cards Snowflake 2-Christmas 2 Pattern
DMC Bronze Metallic thread
Cream card
Bronze Mirra card
Stitched square dies
Merry Christmas die came free in this months Papercraft Essentials Magazine
Pearls my box.
Embossing Folder is Crafter's Companion Nordic Christmas Frosty Morning

Sadly the metallic thread and  Mirra card have not shown that well in the photo its much more sparkly than the photo shows.

Well I hope you are all looking forward to the weekend I'm planning to do some more work on the last curtain at some point and some more Christmas shopping..

Finally I thought you would all like to see Miles in his Pumpkin Halloween outfit he's so cute especially that Hat !!.

Love and  hugs Carole x

  5. Hi Carole this is a stunning card I love it. That snowflake is gorgeous. I do find sparkle and glitter don't show well in photos which means it is such a delight when you see the real card. Your grandson looks so cute. Have a great weekend. Take care. Hugs Jackie

  11. Lovely stitched card. That's something I enjoy doing too, but I haven't done one for a while (I'm much too slow at it) (and my stitched cards were definitely not as pretty or as detailed as yours is...)
    Cute photo...thanks for sharing.
